Doug began mentoring young men after seeing a consistent challenge: many boys were growing up without strong male role models.
He saw the gap—and chose to step into it.
What began as a commitment to help a few young men became a lifelong focus on providing practical guidance and meaningful conversation.

After more than 20 years working with middle school boys, Doug has seen a clear pattern:

Doug believes young men need more than advice—they need clarity, example, and reinforcement.

Doug was raised with strong male role models and has carried those lessons forward through his work and relationships.
He and his wife, Judy, have three grown children and are proud grandparents to two granddaughters and two grandsons.
He enjoys hunting, golf, sailing, bicycling, and following college basketball.
His goal is simple:
to give young men a clearer path—and help families guide them along the way.
